I absolutely love London designer Phil Cuttance‘s Faceture project. He has built a machine to cast faceted vases, lamps, and the list goes on. It consists of pouring a water-based resin into a simple mould which hardens as it dries. If these images weren’t pretty enough, there’s is a video! Click HERE to see it, it’s so much fun!
Jill Malek’s Luci Della Citta hand screen printed wallpaper. How much do we love this pattern? The soft palate, the dots that look like out of focus snow flakes or lights in a hazy picture. It’s so calm and romantic, it’s simply beautiful.
Malek, based out of New York, specializes in print and pattern for anything from printed books and stationary to textiles and wallpaper. Check out her website for more beautiful prints!
Here’s Ta-Ze, a sweet little olive oil shop designed by Burdifilek, here in Toronto. I love the olive tree branches and leaves graphics on the wall and the thin framed shelving on the. The mosaic flooring is equally stunning. Clean and fresh is where it’s at! It also helps that the packaging is lovely as well!
