Good grief, when I read on Coco Cozy that this apartment was only 570 sq. ft., I thought…inconceivable! There are some teeny tiny apartments out there, but this one seems larger than life and filled with style. Love it!

I think its pretty cool when nature makes its way into your house or office. I saw it first this in Fallingwater, by Frank Lloyd Wright, where the hearth of the fireplace was the natural stone from the outside and the house was, essentially, built around it. Quite cool. Here are some other examples I thought were pretty neat too! Enjoy!

Ok fine, I’m finally starting to embrace this whole Fall, Thanksgiving thing. No better way than to do it with friends and family around a good ol’ harvest table.

In the learning corner: A harvest table was a table which began with the feasts Pilgrims planned for fall harvest celebrations, the root of Thanksgiving. Now, it usually means a long and narrow table, with hinged drop leaves measuring a minimum of 6 feet in length. The end.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! xo

I’m loving this house by Muir Mendes, located in Melbourne, Australia. The architects designed their house for themselves, with an amazing steel-plated facade. There are so many details that I’m oogling at. The front window that opens at the top letting in natural light, the double-height corridor that spans the whole house to allow more light to filter throug, check out that ceiling line (amazing!) and I can’t get enough of those stairs…a simple profile with steel covering each tread and riser, and that perfect reveal. Simply fantastic! Enjoy!

For those who know me, they know I wouldn’t pass up on a nice cup o’ tea. And anything in pretty packaging, is a huge bonus. Im so digging this tea shop designed by Alan Chu in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 35 different tea blends equals 35 different tin colours, and this was the catalyst for the design. I especially love the the offset of the tea ‘bar’ from the plywood furniture and the white walls.

John Maniscalco Architects have designed this residence in San Fransisco, California. This brand new four-storey home, I could move into instantly. It features a beautiful two-storey glass-wall entry wall, to an open living area and kitchen. Did you check out those stools? To. Die. For! Moving on…there is a sexy staircase, beautiful bedrooms, an office, and an awesome roof patio with great views. It’s clean, simple and…well…perfect.

I know I love a whole bunch of different interiors, from super sleek modern, to the old vintage look, but this one…this style takes the cake. There isn’t one thing in this space that I would change. Not. One. Okay, not the biggest fan of stained glass, but to each his own, right? Anyway, I could go on and gush about how much I love this house, but I wont. I’ll spare you all and quit while I’m ahead. Enjoy.
