Puresang Design Studio transformed an Anglican Church into a club and martini bar in Brussels, Belgium. Personally, I have always found churches a little on the creepy side, but this most luxurious space would definitely lure me in without hesitation.

The spaces includes three bars, five lounge areas and a private room for events and private parties. Puresang’s design intentions were to keep the classic architectural elements of gothic church design including the arches and high ceilings, and mixing this with both traditional and modern crystal chandeliers, wood and metal finishes and furniture for a glamourous feel.

I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant called Ella, in Sacramento, California designed by Uxus. I love this design as it brings rustic elements and elegance together beautifully. What I especially admire about the space are the 500 pairs of antique shutters that clad the walls of the main dining areas, mixed with the modern bar and lighting. And look at the fun private dining room wallpaper! Enjoy!

To continue with today’s earlier post about carpets, Structube’s leather shag rug  is a great example of a one-tone rug with great texture and depth. A modern twist on the old 1970’s shag rug, this leather piece is great for any room!
